About Bachlog

Why it exists

Bachlog started as one listener's answer to a familiar problem: a library full of recordings, a streaming service that put every other recording within reach, and no good way to decide what to hear next — or to remember what a recording had meant. It was built for attentive listening first: for comparing performances, keeping notes, and hearing a symphony whole. It is in Early Access, and honest about what is still being built.

What it stands for

  • Your record, not a feed.

Discovery starts from the music you keep, rate, revisit, and write about.

  • It closes the loop.

Bachlog proposes; you confirm; the playlist is yours.

  • Classical treated properly.

A complete work stays together, from one coherent recording.

  • Taste, not retail.

No ads, no engagement bait, no tracking.

  • Honest about where it is.

Early Access, in development, previews labeled as previews.

How it runs

  • One Bachlog, run by its owner; listeners are invited.

  • Sign-in is a passkey, with device pairing for the Apple apps.

  • The product and the site speak English and Canadian French.
